Recently launched in Dutch as Onderhandel voor Jezelf, Christ’l Dullaert’s latest book explores how women can strengthen their negotiation skills, increase their visibility, and expand their influence—both professionally and personally.
With clarity, humor, and honesty, Dullaert reveals how women often miss opportunities in negotiations, career development, and self-advocacy without even realizing it. At a time when gender pay gaps continue to persist, the book offers practical tools to help women recognize their value, communicate with confidence, and take a more strategic approach to important conversations.
The English edition, She Negotiates, is currently in development and will be released soon, bringing these valuable lessons to an international audience.
The official launch of Onderhandel voor Jezelf took place at Baker McKenzie and was organized by Legal Women. The first copy was presented to Mirjam de Blécourt. Watch a recording of the event in the video alongside.
Christ’l is also the author of six books on law firm management and business development. Her (co-authored) book, The New Lawyer, dives deep into the future of law practice. She is an expert in the practical application of negotiation theory across her extensive career and brings a wealth of experience.
In Q4 2021 she published her first novel, Fall of Man, and of course the main character is a Lawyer. June 2025 she published a second novel that is nominated (february 2026) on the longlist of ‘The Literary Gem’.
